How to maintain the solenoid valve?

When the box making machine or carton forming machine tops the material or forms, the movement of the piston is achieved by air intake from one end of the cylinder, exhaust from the other end, and vice versa, air intake from the other end and exhaust air from the other end. The change of the gas flow direction is controlled by the internal control valve that can change the gas flow direction or on-off, that is, the directional control valve. In automatic control, the directional control valve often uses electromagnetic control to achieve direction control, which is called electromagnetic reversing valve.

The electromagnetic directional valve uses its electromagnetic coil to energize, the static iron core produces electromagnetic attraction to the moving iron core to switch the valve core to achieve the purpose of changing the airflow direction. As shown in the figure below, it is a single electric control two-position three-way electromagnetic directional valve Schematic diagram of working principle.

This kind of solenoid valve can often be seen in the mechanical equipment of the box making machine, such as: high-speed cartoning machine, top and earth cover forming machine, semi-automatic box sealing machine, fully automatic box sealing machine and some automatic production line transformation and non-standard product design.

The so-called "position" refers to the different working positions of the valve core relative to the valve body in order to change the gas direction. The meaning of "pass" refers to the port that connects the reversing valve to the system, and there are several ports. In the above figure, there are only two working positions, with the air supply port P, the working port A and the exhaust port R, so it is a two-position three-way.

The figure below shows the graphic symbols of the single solenoid directional control valve. The figure shows two-position three-way, two-position four-way and two-position five-way check valves and graphic symbols. There are several squares in the figure. There are several digits. The symbols ┴ and ┬ in the box indicate that the interfaces are not connected to each other.

Most of Pinchuang Machinery's executive cylinders are double-acting cylinders, so the solenoid valves that control their work need to have two working ports, two exhaust ports and one air supply port, so the solenoid valve used is a two-position five-way solenoid valve. If there are pneumatic components in feeding devices such as cartoning machines and folding machines, the two-position five-way single electronically controlled solenoid valves are generally used, so the solenoid valves used are all two-position five-way solenoid valves, and each solenoid valve is in person.

The machine interface has a switch button for shifting (that is, extending or in-situ). When the equipment is debugged, the valve body can be manually switched to achieve the switch between in-position and in-situ to complete the control of the air circuit. To achieve the purpose of debugging. (In automatic mode, some have magnetic sensors and some are time control signals)

In some equipment with many pneumatic components, the solenoid valves are fixed on the manifold, and the manifold can be connected to a muffler to reduce noise. This kind of group consisting of multiple valves and manifolds is called a solenoid valve group, and each solenoid valve group works independently, so if there is a solenoid valve on the solenoid valve group in the later stage, it can be a single solenoid valve group. When replacing, pay attention to install the sealing strip at the bottom of the solenoid valve to achieve the sealing effect. If there is air leakage after installation, it means that the sealing strip has not been installed as required.
